Privacy Policy

We collect as little as we need to run Lot Leverage. We don't sell your information, and we don't use advertising trackers or analytics cookies.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you verify it for a free search or to restore a pass. We use it to send your verification code, link your purchase to you, and answer support requests.
- Your searches: the ZIP code, distance and filters you choose, so we can run and briefly cache the search, and enforce the one-free-search limit.
- Purchase records: when you buy a Leverage Report, we keep a record of the checkout and your pass's expiry date. We never see or store your card number.
- Basic technical data, like your IP address, which we use briefly to prevent abuse (for example, limiting how many codes can be requested).
- Cars you add yourself with "Analyze it" are saved only in your own browser, not on our servers.
Cookies
We use two essential cookies: one that remembers your verified email and one that holds your Leverage Report pass. They're signed so they can't be tampered with, and they're required for the Service to work. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies.
Who we share data with
Only the service providers that help us run Lot Leverage, and only what each needs:
- Stripe processes payments and sales tax. Stripe receives your payment details and email directly. See Stripe's privacy policy.
- Cloudflare hosts the site and stores our data.
- Resend delivers verification-code emails.
- MarketCheck provides vehicle listings. It receives your search's ZIP code and filters, but not your email.
- Google Fonts serves the site's fonts, which means Google sees your IP address when the page loads.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Verification codes expire after 10 minutes.
- Cached search results are deleted after 24 hours.
- Pass records are kept for the 30-day pass plus a short buffer.
- Your verified email and free-search record are kept so the free-preview limit works. Ask us and we'll delete them.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing support@getlotleverage.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we'll honor them.
Children
Lot Leverage is meant for adults shopping for a car and isn't directed to children under 16.

If we change this policy we'll update the date above.
